Lisa Leger is the Academic Director of the Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner program at Justisse College. She was among the first graduates in the teacher training program for The Justisse Method in 1989, and has conducted a private practice ever since. She was invited to join the Justisse College faculty in 2009 and took extra training with co-founder Geraldine Matus to become a HRHP-Educator.
She has a B.A. in Psychology from University of Waterloo, and has been trained in Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Supplements while working as a Natural Health Consultant and retailer in a pharmacy setting. Working closely with Pharmacists, Lisa was a coach in the Ideal Protein weight loss program; providing private consultations and public education. She has served on the board of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research (SMCR), the Association for Fertility Awareness Professionals (AFAP), and chaired the Mid Island Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada (OC).
In her community on Vancouver Island, Lisa provided public talks at the Vancouver Island Public Library, and chaired the steering committee for the Oceanside Family Health and Wellness Fair. Lisa is well known as the voice of the long running “Life Well Moments” on Island Radio. She teaches a course titled “A Sensible Look at Natural Medicine” in the ElderCollege program, formerly administered by Vancouver Island University.
