A Transformational Gift from Luke & Tierney Kornet Funds the First FACTS Fellowship and Pipeline Program

By Tucker Brown, MD

We are excited to announce that Luke and Tierney Kornet have made a transformational gift to FACTS About Fertility to fund the launch of the first FACTS Fellowship and a new Pipeline Program. Their gift is the largest contribution to FACTS to date, enabling the organization to take critical steps toward making fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) and restorative approaches to reproductive healthcare accessible to all. We are incredibly grateful for the Kornets’ gift and their passion for our work. We would like to share what motivates their support.

When Luke and Tierney sought guidance for their own health, they found it very difficult to find a medical professional who could help them. They were fortunate to have connected with a fertility educator who introduced them to cycle charting and key lifestyle interventions. It was eye-opening but only the beginning of their journey.

Their fertility educator was one of our FACTS speakers, and she connected Tierney with our executive director Dr. Marguerite Duane, who guided them to receive the care they needed.

“That’s what makes FACTS so important. It’s giving doctors that education, helping them see that there is something they can do,” Luke said.

Inspired by their own experiences, Luke and Tierney made a transformative gift to fund the first FACTS Fellowship and our new Pipeline Program, designed to train more doctors to treat the root causes of fertility issues and increase access to restorative reproductive healthcare services.

“This gift allows young, curious doctors to learn, apply, and carry this knowledge forward,” Luke said. “One informed doctor can change the lives of dozens of families, and the ripple effect continues from there.”

The impact of the Kornets’ gift extends beyond medical training. It also increases access to these critical services, transforming lives, strengthening families, and giving hope to couples navigating the heartbreak of infertility and miscarriage.

“Understanding how our bodies work and how to support a healthy pregnancy has helped us build our family,” Luke said. “Supporting FACTS means helping more families experience that same gift and giving doctors the tools to truly care for women and couples with knowledge, respect, and compassion.”

Luke and Tierney’s gift has made it possible to create programs that will educate and equip a generation of reproductive health professionals. Their contribution is a beacon of hope for families everywhere.

“It’s deeply good work—for couples, for doctors, for the culture,” Luke said. “There’s nothing more worthy of our attention and energy than helping families grow and ensuring that knowledge, care, and respect are accessible to all.”

Thanks to Luke and Tierney Kornet’s generosity, the FACTS Fellowship and Pipeline Program will empower early career physicians to transform the future of reproductive care.
