Call for Posters!

Be part of advancing women’s healthcare at the 2025 Spring FACTS conference, hosted in collaboration with Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. We invite researchers, clinicians, and educators to submit poster abstracts showcasing innovative work in fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs), from novel teaching approaches to cutting-edge technology applications. Selected presenters will join leading experts on March 21-22, 2025, to share insights that bridge traditional knowledge with modern healthcare solutions.

Deadline: Abstract submissions are due Wednesday, March 5, 2025 – contribute to shaping the future of holistic women’s health.

FABM Teaching

Includes teaching to clients or training of fertility awareness-based method (FABM) teachers and clinicians. Highlight what is new, results observed, and/or expected results.

New Uses of FABMs

Novel use of FABMs for special circumstances such as menarche, post-contraception, postpartum, breastfeeding, perimenopause, infertility, or other health issues.

FABM Marketing

Discuss what was unique about the marketing program and how it impacted FABM education or services. Include the results and why.

FemTech

Using new technology, such as fertility tracking monitors and cycle-tracking apps, or evaluation of apps and devices for FABMs. Highlight it is new in this area of development.

RRM/FABM Case Studies

Case studies or research contributions using FABMs and/or restorative reproductive medicine (RRM). Include meethod comparisons or applications used for diagnosis, management, or treatment of a disease that impacts fertility.

Instructions for Poster Submissions

Poster Description

The poster should be a visual presentation of a scientific paper that summarizes the details of your original work. The Poster format represents an alternative to formal verbal presentation but does require presenting a summary of the work and answering questions to interested viewers. All presenters’ disclosure information is required to be printed on your presentation.

 

Presenter Requirements

All presenters are required to abide by the following:
Submit your presentation in abstract form summarizing the content in the poster. The abstract should be no longer than 2 pages and may include 1 figure or table that is reduced in size to fit on the document. Submit your abstracts by February 28, 2025 via the submission form below.

Use the following format for both the abstract and the full poster:
• Title, Purpose/Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Limitations and Future directions, References.

Place the author’s full first and last names below the title and then list the author’s affiliation below the names. Use a numerical superscript after each name when there are multiple affiliations.

 

Poster Display Board Dimensions

• Four (4) feet (1.21 meters) high by Four (4) feet (1.21 meters) wide.

Presenters are required to adhere to these limits. No exceptions can be made. It is suggested that the final poster size be slightly smaller than the board dimensions to avoid overlap and the possibility of the poster being too large for the allocated space.

Include all sections listed above and add all details necessary to adequately present your research. Graphics including figures, graphs and tables can be used and should be clearly labeled and referenced in the text. All posters will be reviewed for their significance and contribution to the advancement of knowledge and for adherence to the instructions. A limited number of posters will be accepted and only the most competitive contributions will have an opportunity to be presented. You will be expected to stand next to your poster and present it to interested viewers at the prescribed time.

 

Attendance at Conference

All accepted poster presenters are expected to register for the FACTS conference and be present throughout the day to be able to discuss their work during poster viewing times. Travel, lodging, and other expenses are the responsibility of the presenter.
