Through online lectures, live case study discussions, and readings, this course will explore the broad applications of modern Fertility Awareness Based Methods (FABMs) and their role in reproductive health from menarche to menopause and all the stages in between.


Overall Course Goals

Upon completion of the course, you will be equipped with practical insights to effectively address various reproductive health concerns with confidence and clarity. Additionally, you will be able to:

  • Identify common concerns and potential diagnoses on fertility awareness charts
  • Discuss individualized timing of laboratory and radiological studies for evaluation
  • Optimize healthy ovulation and menstrual cycles through a collaborative approach to charting
  • Integrate targeted restorative treatment options for ovulation disorders, luteal phase defects, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, sub/infertility, and prevention of early miscarriage.

In Part K, Advancing Access in Holistic Reproductive Health Care throughout the Lifespan participants will explore key strategies to improve reproductive health services for diverse populations. The curriculum covers a range of issues, including how reproductive health access can be expanded through education, particularly for adolescents and young adults. A focus will be placed on overcoming barriers to fertility care through fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) and better billing practices. The course will also address the intersection of hormonal health and mental well-being, emphasizing the need for comprehensive care models that support women through various life stages, from adolescence to menopause.
