The FACTS Residency Database was developed to help students distinguish between family medicine programs based on their ability to accommodate a resident who is interested in promoting FABMs. A five question survey was conducted amongst programs present at the 2013 AAFP and FMEC Residency Fairs. Each program received 1point for every survey question answered “yes.” The more points a program has the friendlier the program is towards FABMs.

Q1

Would your program accommodate a resident who did not wish to recommend methods of birth control aside from FABMs?

Q2

Does your program have any faculty trained in FABMs?

Q3

Does your program currently have residents knowledgeable about FABMs?

Q4

Does your program have a written conscience protection policy for residents?

Q5

Does your program have a religious affiliation?
